Aotearoa New Zealand Kiwi Heritage Dining Table
Handcrafted piece: small variations in wood grain and colour make each one unique.
About this piece
This is a large, handmade six-seater dining table featuring a distinctive New Zealand map inlay at its centre.
Design: A detailed silhouette of the map of New Zealand is incorporated into the tabletop as a striking central feature.
Tabletop: Crafted from natural timber, with the wood grain, knots and variations retained to give every piece an individual character.
Map Inlay: The NZ map is set into the timber using a dark, contrasting resin, creating a bold visual centrepiece.
Construction: Handmade, combining traditional woodworking with contemporary resin-inlay craftsmanship.
Seating: Designed as a large six-seater dining table, providing generous space for family meals and entertaining.
Base: A minimalist black metal frame complements the warm timber and keeps the focus on the tabletop.
Finish: Smooth, refined and polished, while retaining the natural character of the wood.
Overall aesthetic: A strong combination of New Zealand identity, natural timber and modern industrial design. The map makes it particularly suitable as a statement piece for a home, holiday property, office, lodge or New Zealand-themed interior.
