Return Policy

At GSNZ (Genuine Suppliers NZ Ltd), we take pride in offering high-quality, handcrafted products and aim to ensure every customer is fully satisfied. This Return Policy sets out your rights and our responsibilities under New Zealand consumer law, as well as how we handle returns for our worldwide customers.

1. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

For customers in New Zealand, you are protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). This means you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described. These rights apply in addition to our store policy.

2. Change of Mind Returns

  • If you change your mind after purchase, we may accept a return at our discretion.

  • Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.

  • The return shipping/courier costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Refunds (excluding shipping charges) will be processed once the returned product has been received and inspected.

3. Damaged or Faulty Products

  • If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery (as per New Zealand standards).

  • We may request photos or videos of the damaged product to assess the claim.

  • Once approved, we will arrange a replacement at no extra cost to you.

  • In some cases, we may offer a refund instead of a replacement.

4. International Orders

  • We ship worldwide from both New Zealand and India.

  • For international returns (outside NZ), the same principles apply:

    • Faulty/damaged goods → we cover replacement costs.

    • Change of mind → buyer pays the return courier charges.

  • Please note that customs duties, taxes, and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. Timeframes for Returns

  • Damaged or faulty product claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

  • Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving the item.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.

6. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, some items (such as water bottles and food-contact products) cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.
